Conference Site

International Conference Center Hiroshima (website)
Location: 1-5, Nakajima-cho, Naka-ku, Hiroshima, 730-0811, Japan

International Conference Center Hiroshima is located within Hiroshima City, approximately 20 minutes from JR Hiroshima Station by bus or streetcar(tram), and is situated within the Peace Memorial Park.

Important Notes
  • No registration desk is available at the venue. If you would like to register, please sign up from here.
  • You must bring your printed registration badge to enter the IDW ’25 conference site.
    Please download and print your registration badge in advance by logging in to the registration system (Confit) with your ID and password.
    You will find the “Registration Badge Download“ button at the top page after logging in. The badge holders will be provided at the conference site lobby.

Access to Online Contents

IDW ’25 program, proceedings will be available on the online program site (Confit).
The proceedings of IDW ’25 will be available on December 2, 2025.
Please bring your PC or tablet etc. with Wi-Fi connectivity to access the online program site.

Format of Session

Oral Sessions

  • Presenters will make their presentations in-person.
  • Immediately after the allotted session, an "Extended Q&A" where the presenter and attendees can communicate with each other will be provided in the session room.

Poster Sessions

  • Presenters will present a printed poster at the conference site and will interact with attendees.
  • Short presentation for EP workshop only will be held on Thur., Dec. 4, at 11:50 AM in Room Ran 2.
Pre-IDW ’25 Event: Technical Tour

Date: Tuesday, December 2, 2025, 12:00 PM - 5:30 PM
Destinations: Mazda Museum, NHK Hiroshima Broadcasting Station
Fee: JPY1, 000 (bus fare). Admission to the destinations is free of charge.
Capacity: 90 people
Meeting Point: Hiroshima International Conference Center 1F Entrance
Registration Deadline: Thursday, October 30, 2025
Registration: Registration system will open in the mid-September.

Mazda Museum
Mazda is a Japanese car manufacturer, being the first in the world to commercialize the rotary engine.
The museum is divided into 10 exhibition zones, which include factory tour, that present the history of Mazda from its founding to the present as well as Mazda's vision for the next 100 years. You can enjoy a wide variety of displays from classic cars to groundbreaking engines. As you watch cars being assembled before your very eyes, you will understand Mazda’s dedication to manufacturing and the spirit that has driven the company since its founding.

NHK Hiroshima Broadcasting Station
8K Super Hi-Vision Theater: Experience ultra-high-definition 8K video on a 250-inch large screen with 22.2ch three-dimensional sound.
VR Experience of Atomic Bomb-Related Content: Experience the devastation of the atomic bomb virtually, providing an opportunity to think about the preciousness of peace.

  • If you are not enrolled in travel insurance, IDW will enroll you in travel insurance that covers this tour.

Exhibition Stamp Collection Rally
Visit exhibition, meet exhibitors, and collect stamps along the way. Collect unique stamps from exhibitors and exchange them for prize at the Exhibition Desk.
Register at the Exhibition Desk to participate.
The number of prizes is limited, so hurry and don't miss out!

Code of Conduct

Unlawful behavior regarding gender, sexual orientation, disability, race ethnicity, religion, national origin et cetera are strictly prohibited in the IDW ’25. Inappropriate behavior that causes damage to patentability, reputation and the honor of the presenter are not allowed in the online/onsite meeting rooms.

IDW ’25 prohibits recording, capturing or sharing any parts of the conference or content on the conference platform. Do not cite or reproduce any part of any presentation or video without permission from the presenter.

Sharing your registration with another person(s) is a violation of the Code of Conduct and may result in your access to the event being terminated.
